This is where our worry dolls and other Mayan-inspired gifts come from. Our buyers think very highly of our suppliers there, who came up with an idea for a completely new school in a village called La Giralda, where ninety students have to attend classes in a dilapidated, leaky shack. It is an area with a mainly native population, where a lot of handicrafts are produced, including textiles used by our suppliers. We are partners with the supplier in funding this school.
